Designer Emily Cheetham founded the London-based handbag and accessories label, Cheet, in 2002. She won the best Accessories Designer award at the London Fashion Forum’s Profile 7 tradeshow in February 2006. A capsule collection at Hobbs followed.In the footsteps of Jasper Conran, Julien MacDonald and Matthew Williamson, Emily Cheetham was invited by one of the UK's largest retailers, to become a renowned, Designer at Debenhams. Her diffusion men's label, Cad by Cheet, launched in April 2007 and comprises of bags, belts, wallets and small accessories.
Over the last four years, Cheet has established a loyal following of customers – and celebrities – who have discovered Emily’s quirky designs from word-of-mouth recommendations, press coverage and selected outlets. Cheet bags are clutched by the likes of Hollywood stars Keira Knightley and Natascha McElhone and GMTV's Jenni Falconer and Ben Shepherd.
Emily uses adventurous yet wearable colours, and has a playful attention to detail that can be seen on many of her designs.
