It is now widely known that plastic bags are bad for the environment. Many cities around the world are starting to go plastic bag free, and England is starting to catch on to this.
Modbury, in Devon, was the first town to go plastic bag free, and Oxford is already running a campaign to be the first city to also go plastic bag free. On the south coast, Brighton and Hove are also talking about banning plastic bags.
