Here's the interesting thing about bamboo, as you know it is a grass and not technically a wood at all! Yet when treated and compressed and cleverly meshed together it looks and feels like a hardwood but with much greener credentials! As a natural product, there are variations in the compression and therefore, the finish of the wood and the depth of the engraving varies accordingly, which just enhances the unique beauty! Overall the light bamboo has a more stable structure and so the engraving is clearer. The teak colour gives a more subtle engraving which gives the keyring a vintage look.
