The new DigiFlux® CFLs bulbs are being welcomed by householders wanting to save money and energy without compromising on the control of their lighting that dimming provides. They can be used as a direct replacement for traditional incandescent lamps and provide big energy savings.
The new spiral Dimmable EnergySaver can be dimmed using a standard dimmer switch from 2% to 100% brightness and is predicted to save the purchaser more than £100 on energy bills, during its 16000 hour lifetime, compared with an equivalent 100W GLS lamp. Combining the energy-saving properties of a CFL with the capacity to dim results in superb energy efficiency calculated to reduce carbon emissions by more than half a tonne with every GLS lamp replaced.
