Yellow bill, sharp eyes and lovely webbed feet, charming hand-carved and painted wooden seagull.
The common gull takes three years to mature and is not as common as might be expected. It is a clever feeder, dancing in shallow water to bring up worms and molluscs, and smashing shells by dropping them on to rocks from a height.
The gull is a graceful swimmer in pursuit of fish and has a relaxed sailing flight, turning effortlessly with the air currents.
