Using carefully chosen colours and fabrics I wish to create elegant and unusual accessories and home furnishings that, although quite different, compliment one another.

Working from my studio in West Sussex my aim is to create pictures, rather than patterns upon her products. Using carefully finished appliqué and free hand machine embroidery I carry out all every aspect of the process myself, from initial design stage through to the final smattering of beads or a touch of hand embroidery! This process avoids the exact reproduction created by commercial machine embroidery and leaves you with a beautiful, original hand crafted piece of work that you will cherish forever.

I have also recently returned to one of my first loves, painting and illustrating, and I have taken this a step further by producing a range of striking open and limited edition prints and affordable products. My inspiration comes from the places I find herself drawn to, both physically and emotionally. These have included the times in my life when I lived in the Far East, as well as a perpetual fascination for the elegant styles of the Forties and Fifties. Words that define what I try to express in my work include spontaneity, elegance, sensuality, beauty, line, freedom, luck and texture. I exhibits regularly at art fairs around the country as well as appearing in galleries and in magazines.
