A Sherlock Holmes quote printed onto an original page from one of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic stories.

These make the perfect gift for the book-lover in your life. The genius and wit of Sherlock Holmes is truely timeless.

The quotations are printed using a hand drawn font created exclusively for Bookishly. Eco-friendly wood is used to frame an original vintage book page, making each piece unique to you. The road map gift wrap adds the final touch to this lovely gift.

The page is taken from an old b-format paperback so the piece measures approximately 14cm x 20cm (about 5.5 inches x 8 inches).

Choose from three quotations:

"When you have eliminated all which is impossible then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth"

"Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent."

"Mr. Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound."

made from:

There is no glass in these hand-made black block frames, so you can feel the lovely old page. The lightweight frames are put together by a family firm in Northamptonshire using ethically sourced wood. They stand up by themselves so are great for bookshelves, or hang flush to the wall. The books are sourced from local charity shops and second hand book dealers.

dimensions:

Approx 14cm x 20cm (approx 5.5 inches x 8 inches)

There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
