A love quote from William Shakespeare printed onto a book page, framed in eco friendly wood.
"Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?"
This romantic quote makes the perfect valentine's day for a lover of classic literature.
The lovely old yellow book pages are framed in ethically sourced wood and gift wrapped in a beautiful old road map. The quotation is printed using a hand drawn font made exclusively for Bookishly, and the original book pages make each one unique. Your page will be randomly picked from Shakespeare's Complete Works, so won't necessarily be from the same play as the quote.
The pages used are slightly smaller than A5 and measure approximately 15.5 x 21.5cm (approx 6 x 8.5 inches).
There are several Shakespeare designs in my range. Choose from:
1 "Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?"
2 "Follow your spirit, and upon this charge Cry, God for Harry, England, and Saint George!"
3 "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players"
4 "to thine own self be true"
5 "Though she be but little, she is fierce."
The black wooden block frames have no glass so you can feel the lovely old page. They are handmade in England by a local family business. The books are hunted down in charity shops and second hand book dealers. The lightweight frames hang flush to the wall or stand up on their own, making them perfect for bookshelves.
15.5 x 21.5cm (approx 6 x 8.5 inches)
There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
