Valentine tree by Bombus
I am always designing new ways to use my ever expanding stockpile of tiny pieces of map. I can't bare to throw anything away. So I have decided to embark upon a series of original artwork designs using just these pieces.
This design consists of 30 hand cut hearts from pink toned map pieces collaged onto a trunk shape to create this fun shaped tree.
Each of the pieces of map has been bonded & glazed onto water colour paper to make them rigid and then mounted proud of the paper.
The map pieces are all of varying ages & locations.

Each one is individually handmade so yours will be an entirely unique artwork.
