This season the line is heavily inspired by the glamorous boho era of the 1970's. Kaftans in rich prints with angel sleeves edged in silver and gold, embroidered cotton tunics cinched on the hip to create a flattering silhouette, broderie anglasie gypsy tops with drawn up necklines and puff sleeves and elegant column cotton sundresses in vintage florals and jungle foliage prints. New for 2008 is Blink Beach's limited luxury line which includes kaftans in exquisite and airy print fabrics with beading around the decollete and sleeve and ethereal white lace kaftans decoratively tied with polished seashells to create an offbeat look.
This season the striking colour palette includes hot pink, burnt orange, sea green and wonderful shades of blue, while fresh white acts as the perfect canvas. The line also features a play on dark and light hues, with the ever popular and failsafe monochrome making a return for the Spring Summer 08. All pieces are handmade from the finest silks, chiffons and cottons sourced from around the world.
