These cushions are handmade in London, England using Antique Hungarian grain sacks dating from 1910-1930.

The sacks are hand woven with flax linen, which is known for its durability and strength, and is said to be 2-3 times stronger than cotton. The weaver would often embroider his initials and the varying stripes indicate which mills they came from. It would be impossible to find a modern fabric with such history and character.The cushions are designed for indoor or outdoor use and are machine washable.

The cushions have a tough, woven texture and the coloured stripes and hand stitched wooden buttons add a touch of style.

Size: 45cm x 45cm and supplied with duck feather pads.Please note that not all cushions come with embroidered initials.
