Berties
My designs are all about inspiring feelings, imagination and fond memories with unique and personalised gifts for your home and for special celebrations... with a bit of fun thrown in.
Launched in 2010 Berties came about after years of designing and making in and around my full time jobs in the film and music industries and then at home. Much of my inspiration comes from these years.
For anyone who played with Dolls Houses, Micro Machines, visited Bekonscot Model Village or Legolands Mini Land You will totally understand The Toy Letter Art. I designed the road for my son Jasper out of a desire for something cool and unique for this room. However it has had the added bonus that when he cannot sleep at night I tell him to imagine shrinking into the picture and driving off somewhere. He is then very quite and if he can remember He tells me what happened in the morning. The other toy letter art sprung from there and has proved equally popular with customers. All pictures handmade with the use of computer design, miniature toys and materials to create the realistic 3d scenes.
As a keen photographer I came up with doing The Mosaic Pictures to make use off all those photos sitting in dusty lofts and weighing down the computer memory. It puts all your photos in one place and with our fast paced lives there is NOTHING more wonderful than looking over photos to help you remember (or help you see) you and your friends and family have lived a wonderful life.
I have taken this a stage further where you can send me all of your children's artwork (Every piece you have) to make into one cool piece of art for their wall. You can then recycle the originals guilt free!
Love to give gifts that are a little bit clever and show you care? My product range will see you through from Birth and Birthdays, Christenings and naming ceremonies, Engagement and Weddings, Moving House and Changing jobs.
If you have any questions or would like to commission something bespoke please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
