Each of these wonderful bowls is hand coiled using small strips of bamboo and then hand shaped and finished with a natural food safe lacquer derived from the cashew nut tree.

The natural lacquer creates a durable waterproof finish and means the bowls are suitable for both hot and cold foods. Although not dishwasher safe, they clean easily with warm soapy water or a damp cloth.

They are made by families in rural villages in Vietnam to help supplement farming income and use centuries-old craft skills unique to Vietnam.
