A wonderful little firelighting kit that contains everything that you need to make a fire without matches. This tinderbox is made in the forests of Swedish Lapland using the same techniques that have been used for centuries by the forest people.
Includes flintstone, a traditional hand-forged Swedish firestriker steel, Amadou tinder (a traditional firelighting material made from fungi), shavings of wood from Scandinavian pine tree stumps and a bundle of last year's dried grass. The method is simple – strike the steel against the flintstone to set alight the tinder, then the dried grass and finally the wood shavings before gradually adding twigs and branches to create a roaring campfire.
A perfect gift for any camper or outdoor enthusiast who would like to turn their hand to making fire.
