A beautiful hand forged traditional Swedish firestriker made in the forests of Swedish Lapland using the same techniques that have been used for centuries by the forest people. Use for striking flintstone to light tinder and make fire without matches.
The method is simple – strike the steel against the flintstone to set alight some tinder such as dried grass and gradually add twigs and branches to create a roaring campfire. With it’s unusual curly design, it is a beautiful and interesting tool that makes a perfect gift for any stylish camper or outdoor enthusiast.
Made from Swedish high carbon steel. This is a handforged product characterised by individual markings.
