Babaloo designs, manufactures and sells top class eco-friendly goods for mum, dad and baby. Everything we do and make is sustainably sourced, organic, wild or fairly traded. What's more, all of our products are currently made in England!
Babaloo was established in late 2004 by three like-minded souls who wanted to make nice things for nice people that were of the highest quality whilst still being cost effective. By catering for mums, dads AND their babies we hoped to establish a brand that people would enjoy and trust from their very earliest days.
Our slogan "Everybody's Happy" stems from the theory that if we are good to our customers, our suppliers, our planet and everyone else remotely involved in our business then everybody who comes to know Babaloo would be happy with what we do and how we do it!
In recent times, Babaloo has become something of a specialist in bamboo fibre. Bamboo fibre is a truly remarkable discovery of the 21st century.
Bamboo thrives naturally without the use of pesticides. It is a natural cellulose fibre which is converted into yarns without the addition of chemicals, and is 100% biodegradable in soil by micro-organism and sunshine, causing no pollution to the environment. The unique make-up of the bamboo fibre gives it a moisture absorption rate three times that of cotton.
Bamboo fibre is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti static. Our bamboo products have an ultra-soft feel, yet are durable and long lasting.
