Featuring stunning Mexican fire opals, which have been carefully selected and strung in an ombre fashion whereby they graduate from the palest apricot through to gold and orange onto deep red and back again.
This handmade gemstone necklace closes with a lobster clasp and is finished with a little fire opal charm that dangles beautifully on the back of the neck (a lovely little detail !).

Designed and handmade in Devon, England, with mexican fire opals and 14k gold fill beads, strung on finest 49 strand beading wire, with 14k rose gold fill / 14k gold fill / 925 sterling silver chain and findings.
Gold Fill is the next best quality after pure gold - it is not a plated finish and therfore will not rub off. Fine layers of pure gold sheets are 'rolled' between layers of other metals (such as silver) and these layers bond together to form gold fill, or rolled gold, which contains layers pure gold rolled thoughout, right to the core.
