Ink is specially formulated to be safe for baby's skin, and removes easily with soap and water. However the pink pad can sometimes stain the skin and be more difficult to remove.
For young babies, a hand or foot can be placed directly onto the ink-pad. The pad is designed to allow you to take prints from older babies too, by wiping the pad across the baby's hand or foot to get complete ink coverage before taking a print.
Available in pink or blue.

The ink is not very strong but sufficient for one print at a time. Nobody tells you how difficult it is to take a print of a baby's hand (always closed) or feet (always in motion)! Worth a try.
