Earlier this year we commissioned a range of handcrafted jewellery, to compliment our beachwear collection, made from coloured beads, stones and shells in pretty summer colours. The craftsmen are three brothers in Denpasar, Bali. The three of them live in one small room, for our meeting we sat barefoot on their floor and agreed on our designs, all conversation was through the youngest, Seini at 14, he speaks the best English. We decided to deal directly with the brothers, to ensure that the money would get to where it was needed, helping to support them and their extended family group. Many people in Bali still struggle to make a living, Due to to the bombings Tourism has been very slow to pick up.
