Padded Leather Dog Collar by annrees equestrian

These collars are based on our classic leather collars, but they have a soft cow hide padding. This is to give greater comfort to the dog as the rounded edges are softer and prevent hair shaving. It also gives you the opportunity to have some fun with the 224 different colour combinations available. We make matching leads too!

All our collars are designed and handmade by me, Ann Rees. I use traditional hand stitching methods, which let's face it, aren't kind to one's skin, but are exceptionally durable and strong.

Here is a summary of features of this style of dog collar;

· Flat padded leather dog collar · Main leather cut from cow shoulder hide: less stiff & more comfortable than bridle leather · Padded with soft cow hide, folded over for extra strength and for rounded edges to prevent hair shaving at neck · Hand stitched at the buckle for strength and machine stitched down the length for neatness · High quality, smart and hardwearing · Choice of 16 main and 14 padding colours [see pictures] · Strong chromed steel or brass fittings

MEASURING DETAILS - IMPORTANT

To buy one of these collars you need to select a leather width, then select the ACTUAL circumference of your dog's neck - not the length from end to end when unfastened, then select a leather colour and finally, the fitting type.

The colours in the pictures from left to right are;

Top leather

Traditional (waxy): Black, Brown, Tan, Forest green, Red and Dark red

Contemporary (waxy): Purple, Lilac, Royal blue, Baby blue, Fuchsia, Baby pink and White

Vintage (matt): Red wine, Cherry red and Leaf green

Padding leather

White, Baby pink, Salmon pink, Rose pink, Lilac, Purple, Peach, Yellow, Lime green, Jade, Dark Green, Mushroom, Sky blue and Red
