Jewellery made by Anne Morgan blends together a unique combination of organic texture with simple geometry.
Using traditional techniques, Anne fuses the relationship of form and surface to create jewellery of distinctive quality and unique design. Her passion is reticulation which, through workshop experimentation, continues to develop allowing her to create bold, yet wearable jewellery for every day as well as special occasions.
Anne Morgan is an established contemporary jeweller who recently won silver in the craft&design Selected Awards 2013, she also designed and made the National Eisteddfod of Wales 2012 Crown. Anne has been well supported by the Arts Council of Wales with two Project Grants and enjoys continually developing her work.
Anne’s specialism in her jewellery is to use a technique called reticulation. It is a process that uses a flame to almost melt the surface of the silver. The texture marks a precise moment in which Anne withdraws the flame from part-liquefied silver. She often combines the textured silver with semi-precious stones and pearls
Anne also offers a bespoke commissioning service and has delighted many of her clients with her jewellery.
Anne set up her workshop in 1998 in South Wales and has continued to create new designs and develop new techniques. She is sure you will enjoy giving or wearing her designs.
