The Shetland Collection is a quirky, modern take on traditional tweed and Fair Isle patterns, designed during a residency on a remote Shetland Isle. Inspired by the rich textiles heritage and windswept days spent on the heather moors, beaches and wandering amongst native sheep, the textiles are woven in local Shetland lambswool and fancy yarns- predominantly natural white unbleached eco-friendly yarn- softened by scouring in the soft water of the Scottish borders.
Comes with a natural rubber large hot water bottle (2 litres) to fill up and keep cosy!
Sorry I'm out of the blue/ green colourway but still have the pinks & naturals in stock!

04 Oct 2010The service was really good and I received the hot water bottle really quickly. The design of the water bottle cover is beautiful. But, I am afraid the product has a strong chemical smell which is not pleasant.

Dear Amrit I'm so sorry about this. The bottles I use are a natural rubber product and although they do tend to have a 'rubbery' smell when new, I can assure you it's all natural and not chemical. I've been in touch with the suppliers and they recommend washing it gently with warm soapy water, rinsing and airing it to allow the 'new' smell to pass. Alternatively they would be happy to replace it as they come with a 2 year guarantee, just send it back to me and I'll arrange a new one to be sent direct to you.
