made in britain
To celebrate the royal wedding season Andrew Tanner Design has collaborated with British manufacturers Royal Winton to create a collection of hand decorated English fine bone china tableware, gift and tea set.
Inspired by the saying ‘Something Borrowed, Something Blue,’ Andrew has recreated the application of the British chintz pattern on traditional forms with a contemporary twist. Each item has a hidden pattern which may be found on the handle of a mug, the base of a saucer, the underneath of a plate or the lid of a teapot, each hand applied by the skilled artisans within the Royal Winton Factory, Stoke on Trent, England.
The collection is aptly named ‘Chintz Where?’ and is available in a cake stand, tea pot, creamer, sugar bowl, dinner plate, side plate and cup and saucer.
Whether you want High Tea, Tea and cakes, Scones and Jam or that Great British cuppa, you can be sure that tea always tastes better from a British china tea set.
Andrew Tanner is an award winning ceramist bringing together traditional values with contemporary design.
