This large serving dish has been hand-carved in Rauli wood (Nothofagus alpina, syn. N. procera, only found in Chile and Argentina), using traditional methods, close to the lake and volcano in Villarrica, Chile. Ideal for salads, to use as platters for antipasti, to serve canapes or to use as a fruit or salad bowl each one of these fair trade wooden trays is a unique and beautiful item.
Large: L25.5 x W14.5 x H6.5cm
This Raulí wood item is very easy to look after: please wash it with warm soapy water, not using scourers, and avoid the dishwasher. To ensure a long life please apply a coating of olive oil once a month.
