Handmade sterling silver and blue glass drop earrings with traditional tuareg engraving detail.

These stunning earrings are handcrafted by Mohamed from his desert camp outside Timbuctou, Mali. They make a unique handmade gift or glorious treat to accompany that special outfit.. These earrings are ethically traded with Tuareg silversmiths working from a desert camp three days camel ride from the ancient trading city of Timbuctou. Artisans in the region face great hardship at present as the effects of global warming and political unrest make daily life a struggle and Alkina seeks to suport them.
