Like my standard wall butterflies, these are extravagant creations in glass, each one being handmade and decorated with intricate textural detail. However these are a limited edition version of the butterflies as they are coated in a gold or platinum lustre. They come in four different effects: bright gold, transparent gold, bright silver and glittering grey.
The making process involves multiple firings in the kiln and the three dimensional shape is achieved in the final firing by careful placement of the glass into continuous moulds which gives each butterfly its unique character.No two butterflies are the same - please remember this when you order yours and allow for differences in shape or colour of the decoration.
Mount one on the wall as a standalone art piece or create your own wall installation with a kaleidoscope of butterflies.
Presented in an elegant Alex R giftbox (wall fixing included).
