Global Treasury: Inka Lightbox by Alex R
The 'Global Treasury' range of lightboxes are sumptuous collages in glass: the optical equivalent of opening a box of treasure. These wall-hung lightboxes sparkle during the day, but truly come alive switched on at night, casting a warm glow of coloured light in the room.
The Inka Box is inspired by the shapes found in Peruvian textiles. It incorporates fused glass, mirror and glass nuggets. The lightbox comes in a charcoal painted frame and uses a standard 5W low energy bulb. It is supplied with a 2 metre lead with switch and plug.
