Telling your story

aFewHomeTruths specialises in creating unusual personalised gifts and artwork which "tell the story" of who you are and where you live.

The product range combines a passion for local history and uncovering the history of ordinary people and how they lived their lives, with a quirky take on life reflected in amusing personalised prints, cards and gifts.

Each beautiful piece is sure to become a real talking point for you, friends and family.

Everything is designed and produced from our little studio in Liverpool overlooking the Welsh coast and Anthony Gormley's Iron Men. When we haven't got our heads buried in census returns, testing out new ideas or setting up photo shoots, we will, of course, be enjoying a steaming cup of tea from one of our own personalised mugs!

We make a point of sourcing everything from the UK - our frames and mounts are made by a family run company in Yorkshire and all our packaging comes from a factory in Wakefield.

Delivery

During the current Royal Mail industrial action we are using Royal Mail Tracked 24 service as our default delivery. According to Royal Mail all orders made by the customer before Friday 16th December should arrive before Christmas, although we cannot guarantee this.

Each artwork is individually created – if you have a special date by which you need the artwork, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline.

Please ensure that your shipping address details are correct, as they are copied directly from the information you give us when submitting your order.

We use Royal Mail First Class postage for our unframed artwork. Your print is rolled and sent in a protective cardtube tube or sent in a hardbacked protective envelope.

Our framed artwork is normally despatched using APC or Royal Mail. Please let us know a safe place to leave the parcel in case you are out to help us ensure that you get your parcel first time. The service takes around 2 working days from the day of dispatch.
