I am not much of a bird watcher and so I am not sure if I should describe these brooches as swooping swallows or kissing doves but one thing is certain they are fab. In a range of colours from muted hues to more vibrant shades, they measure approx 7cm by 3.5cm and are 0.5cm thick.
When my sister and I were about eleven years old my mum said we could have a dog if we passed all of our exams at school. Well we passed them all but instead of getting a dog we got a canary and we called him Twiggy! These gorgeous brooches are named after our pet canary, who lived to the ripe old age of fifteen!
