Intarsia knitting, or 'picture knitting' as it is also known, is an ancient textile art that requires immense patience and skill. Peruvian artists create the garments on a hand operated loom, using a melange of colours to create a mosaic effect which is visible on both sides of the fabric and on both sides of the garment.
These unusual designs are particularly striking when viewed from a distance and richly deserve the description 'art knits'.
Available in a mix of blues, oranges and purples.
Available in sizes small (uk 8 - 10) and large (uk 16 - 18).
Material: 50% Alpaca, 50% Acrylic
